比賽細則

報名

  1. 本活動有一定體力要求,隊員必須具強健體魄。如患有任何心臟病、呼吸系統疾病 (如哮喘等)、脊骨損傷等,請先行向醫生諮詢有關身體狀況是否適合參與,以確保安全。如年齡超過70歲者,需提供醫生證明。
  2. 18歲以下的隊員必須獲得家長或監護人簽署同意方可參賽。
  3. 本活動的最低隊員年齡要求為3歲。參賽隊伍中如有隊員為3歲以下,請於報名前向大會查詢。
  4. 參加者如被發現虛報個人資料,大會有權取消參加資格。

比賽前

  1. 如有隊員於賽前或比賽期間因任何原因缺席,該隊伍可繼續參與,但不能競逐任何獎項。
  2. 隊伍須於指定時間到達比賽場地報到,屆時全隊隊員須齊集及佩戴隊伍號碼布。除非經已向大會申請退出,若隊員未齊或有隊員下落不明,大會有權拒絕辦理登記手續。
  3. 參加者請穿著以藍色為主調的衣飾,同時大會鼓勵穿著歷屆「香港水足印定向」T恤。
  4. 比賽場地不設行李寄存服務,隊伍須自行保管財物。大會不會承擔任何參加者的財物損失。
  5. 隊伍須於指定時間進入比賽等候區。比賽地圖將於全隊隊員進入等候區時派發,但凡取得地圖後不得離開等候區。

比賽期間

  1. 為支持環保及珍惜水資源,活動期間參賽隊伍應盡力避免任何破壞環境及浪費水資源的行為,作為參與活動之承擔。
  2. 全隊隊員須一同於起步禮中出發、於比賽期間一同尋找同一個檢查點、一同抵達終點。
  3. 全隊隊員須於比賽期間佩戴及展露隊伍號碼布。
  4. 隊伍於比賽期間不可乘搭任何公共及私人交通工具,包括巴士、小巴、港鐵及的士。
  5. 隊伍到達檢查站的時間以拍卡系統所記錄的時間為準,大會同時會安排工作人員在場作人手記錄。如隊伍懷疑未能成功拍卡,請立即向在場工作人員反映及作出記錄。
  6. 隊伍不得移動或損壞控制點或大會設施。若有損毀,隊伍須按價賠償。
  7. 參加者應以公平、誠實、友善的態度進行比賽,並尊重其他參加者、大會人員,以及比賽範圍中的居民。
  8. 參加者沒有道路使用優先權,並須遵守道路及行人的交通安全條例,以保障自身及道路使用者的安全。參加者須為比賽期間的自身安全承擔所有責任。

比賽後

  1. 隊伍的完成時間以終點拍卡的時間為準。比賽限時兩小時,逾時將被扣分 (以每分鐘計算)。
  2. 隊伍於終點拍卡後,須再派隊員盡快(該組別賽事完結後30分鐘內)到資料下載區拍卡及交回控制卡,成績方才作實。
  3. 隊伍成績將依據即場印出的條碼。如隊伍就成績或拍卡記錄有任何申訴,須於該組別賽事完結後30分鐘內作出申訴。

其他

  1. 隊伍須遵守所有規例及大會安排,大會有權要求隊伍停止一切可能產生危險的行為。
  2. 隊伍如觸犯以下事項,一經證實,將被取消競逐獎項的資格:
    1. 賽前虛報個人資料
    2. 取得地圖後離開比賽場地
    3. 騷擾或阻撓其他參加者
    4. 擾亂控制點秩序
    5. 破壞任何賽事設施
    6. 隊員分頭尋找不同控制點
    7. 比賽期間乘搭公眾交通工具
    8. 比賽期間未有佩戴及展露隊伍號碼布
    9. 於賽事完結後30分鐘內,未有到終點及資料下載區拍卡
  3. 如本網站的中、英文兩個版本有任何抵觸或不相符之處,應以中文版本為準。
  4. 如有任何爭議時,大會將保留一切最終決定權。


Rules and Regulations

Enrollment

  1. Participants should be in good health. Please consult your doctor before enrollment if one has any illness such as heart disease, respiratory system disease (e.g. asthma) or bone injury, etc. For participant aged over 70 years old, please kindly provide certificate of consultation.
  2. Parent or Guardian’s endorsement is required for team members aged below 18.
  3. The minimum age of participants is 3 years old. Should any team member is below age of 3, please contact the Organizer before submitting the form.
  4. The Organizer reserves the rights to disqualify any participant from the event who provide incorrect personal information during enrollment.

Before the Race

  1. If there is absence of teammates before or during the race, the team is still allowed to participate in the game but will not be eligible for the awards.
  2. Teams should arrive at race venue at designated time to check-in. All team members should be present, with number cloth attached. Except for those who have officially reported to withdraw, the Organizer reserves the right to reject check-in for teams not showing up in full team.
  3. Participants are advised to wear clothing in blue tone. The Organizer encourages wearing “Hong Kong Water Race” official T-shirt in past years.
  4. Luggage storage service is not provided. Teams are reminded to be aware of personal belongings, and run at their own risk of loss.
  5. Teams should enter waiting area at designated time. Game map will be distributed when all team members check-in. Once receiving the map, all team members are not allowed to leave the waiting area.

During the Race

  1. In supporting environment protection and water conservation, participants should try their best to avoid any harmful or wasteful behavior to the environment and water during the event.
  2. All team members of participating team should depart from the kickoff Ceremony, show up at the checkpoint, and arrive at the finish point together.
  3. All team members must wear and show the number cloth during the race.
  4. Teams are not allowed to travel on any public and private transportation during the race, including bus, minibus, MTR and taxi.
  5. Records of team arriving at checkpoints will be based on the timestamp record in the system when teams tap the card. Timestamp will also be recorded manually on site. Please report to staff members on site if teams suspect any unsuccessful timestamp recording.
  6. Removal or damage of checkpoint devices and venue properties are prohibited. Violating teams shall undertake the obligation for indemnity.
  7. Participants should take a fair, honest and friendly attitude, and show respects towards other participants, staff members and residents in the race area.
  8. Participants do not have priority in road use, and are subject to road and pedestrian regulations, in order to protect personal and road users’ safety. Participants should take full responsibility of their own safety during the race.

After the Race

  1. Finishing time of teams will be determined by the time they taps the card at the finishing line. Time limit of the race is 2 hours. Scores will be deducted (in every minute) if teams cannot finish the game within the time limit.
  2. After tapping card at the finishing line, teams must send a member to tap the card again in the data processing booth and return the card as soon as possible (within 30 mintues after end of the race of that category), in order to confirm race results.
  3. Team results will be based on the paper sheets printed on site. Should there are any complaints concerning the result or timestamp record, the complaint must be made within 30 minutes after end of the race of that category.

Others

  1. Teams must obey all rules and regulations set by the Organizer. The Organizer may request the participants to stop any behaviors or misconduct that may pose potential risks.
  2. Violation of the following items will lead to disqualification once confirmed.
    1. Providing incorrect personal information before the race
    2. Leaving the race venue after receiving map from the Organizer
    3. Disturbing or obstructing other participants
    4. Disturbing the order at checkpoints
    5. Removal or damage of checkpoint devices and venue properties
    6. Team members visiting checkpoints separately
    7. Travelling on public or private transportation during the race
    8. Not wearing and showing number cloth
    9. Not tapping card at the finishing line and in the data processing booth within 30 minutes after end of the race
  3. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the Chinese and English version of the website, the Chinese version shall prevail.
  4. The Organizer reserves the rights of final decision on the arrangement of the race.
